OAuth redirect_uri rejected for custom domain

I added my domain in Linked Domains but login still fails with redirect_uri mismatch. Do I need verification first?

Custom web domains must show Verified before production redirects work. Default *.auth.xloudone.com and localhost work immediately.

Also double-check you are storing the host only in Linked Domains — no https:// or path.
